Custom lexicon and jargon recognition
You can map custom keywords, jargon, and phrases to a definition hila can understand. This feature allows you to use domain-specific terms that are not in the hila lexicon.
Open the Lexicon window by clicking the Tools button in the bottom of the left pane of the hila UI and then clicking the Lexicon item in the tools pane.
Tasks:
-
Add a new definition by clicking New definition then adding the keyword or phrase and definition in the pop-out window.
-
Edit a keyword or definition by clicking the corresponding row and editing the keyword or definition in the pop-out window.
-
Delete a mapping by selecting a row and clicking the garbage can icon to the far right. You can also click the row and then click Delete in the pop-out window.
Note: In some situations, hila detects a keyword or phrase that might be a custom keyword. When this happens, hila displays a message asking if you want to add the keyword to the lexicon.
Language scenarios
Supported language combinations for custom keywords include:
- You can ask a question in either English or Japanese that includes an English custom keyword and an English definition, and hila can handle the custom keyword.
- If the keyword and definition are in Japanese, hila can only handle the custom keyword when the question is in Japanese.
